Youth In Mission (YIM) is an opportunity for college students everywhere to be involved in an extreme encounter with God and others through a short-term mission experience. YIM is a place where students will have the chance to use their God-given talents in a variety of ways through ministry to others. This short-term experience points students to a different kind of lifestyle.
Youth In Mission is an 8 week "summer" ministry opportunity for college and university students. Churches and districts benefit both through sending young people on YIM trips and by being the recipients of YIM teams.
Every year the Wantirna Church of the Nazarene is blessed through the ministry of between three and five students who work with both our children and young people
Some activities include puppet shows, Holiday Kids Club, Youth Camps and other programs.
Australia has also sent young people on trips to Thailand and other Pacific islands as well as doing ministry during the Sydney Olympics.
