“O come, let us sing to the Lord;

let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!

Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving;

Let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.”

 

 

At the Wantirna Church of the Nazarene, great emphasis is given to worship.  Jesus said "the Father seeks those who worship him in spirit and in truth".  Our purpose in worship is the adoration of Jesus and glorifying the Father.  We favor participatory worship into which everyone can partake.

The Worship Team is dedicated to ushering in God's presence through Christ-centered music.  While there are many ways to worship the Lord of Glory, music is a universal language that reaches all people, regardless of their origins.  At the Wantirna Church of the Nazarene, we praise God with music genres ranging from classic hymns in our 10am Fellowship service to more contemporary Christian music in our afternoon Family service.   Our hope is that our Heavenly Father will see our sacrifice of praise as we lift our voices, our instruments, and ourselves to Him.
