Thank you for taking the time to investigating further the ministry of the Wantirna Church of the Nazarene. My name is Pastor Trevor Thomas and I’m the senior pastor of the Wantirna church. I’m married to a beautiful and wonderful lady, Bettina, who is also our Sunday School President. She is an amazing support and motivator. She is a hard worker and is always beside me as we minister together here in Wantirna. She has a passion to reach the young people for Christ and believes that God has called her to touch these young lives with the Gospel.
We have two wonderful twin boys, Ryan and Kyle who are both doing their VCE at Highvale Secondary College. We also have a delightful ten year old daughter who is currently in the fifth grade.
My pastoral experience involves ministering to churches in both South Africa and Australia. I completed my ministerial training through Nazarene Theological College in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. In October 2000 we moved to Melbourne Australia where we have been pastoring the Wantirna Church of the Nazarene for the past six years.
The Lord has placed upon my heart a desire and a vision to reach the families in our city for Jesus Christ. Emphasis on holistic nurturing of Christian families; their youth, parents and seniors.
I would like to minister to you in a personal way, and I want God to use me in your life to help you become all that He wants you to be. If you will allow me to be your pastor, I will do all I can to serve you in the love and power of Jesus Christ.
I am very happy living in Wantirna and I love being a pastor (this is definitely God's call upon my life). I am excited about the great future God has in store for us and I hope and trust that the Lord will lead YOU to become a part of what He is doing right here in Wantirna.
