Nazarene Missions International (NMI) is the voice of missions for the church, both locally and internationally.

MISSION STATEMENT:

NMI exists to mobilize the church in mission through prayer, education, giving and interactive experience.

OBJECTIVES:

• To encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evangelism.
• To inform people of the world’s needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs.
• To challenge children and youth to learn about and participate in the mission of the church, both locally and internationally.
• To raise funds for mission work.

The Church of the Nazarene ministers not only in Australia but also in 150 other world areas. There are approximately 800 missionaries and volunteers working in these world areas.

Part of our mission to the world involves Compassionate Ministries, a ministry to the   poor and underprivileged as well to those who are impacted by disasters and devastation. As part of this ministry Redlands Church of the Nazarene is actively involved in supporting several Hills Tribe children in Thailand , giving them the opportunity to obtain a good education and thus helping prevent the cycle of poverty which sometimes leads to child slavery and prostitution.
