About Us:

Canberra Church of the Nazarene is a Christ-centred church, working towards the advancement of His kingdom to the glory of God our Father. We are committed to ministry in the ACT and regional areas. We are also, with other Nazarene churches, involved in compassionate ministries throughout the world.

The Canberra Church of the Nazarene began as a house church. It has since outgrown that location and now meets in a room above the Belconnen Library [see photo below]. It is a multicultural church with a loving and inclusive approach to ministry. All are welcome. As a part of the international Church of the Nazarene, we are a holiness people, committed to full salvation in Christ. We believe God not only saves us but transforms us. This occurs through the power of His Spirit, holiness preaching, good teaching and an involvement by all.

If you are looking for more than just a church, but a place where you can be transformed, empowered and find life's meaning wherein you can make a difference, this church is a place to be.
